LEVEL DESIGNER
Big Moxi Games is scaling its art team to support the development of AAA MMOG with a large global publisher. We are seeking level designers with 2+ years of experience to join us in creating awesome games for PC and consoles.
Location: Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
Responsibilities:
- Development of design documentation for level progression (flow), level layouts, and 3D block-outs for in-engine playtesting;
- Bring new ideas to the table in regards to every facet of the game; mechanics, story, missions, and more;
- Work closely with the artists and programmers to take ideas from conception to implementation;
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Landscapes and Heightmaps using Unreal Engine 4;
- 3D game level building experience;
- Ability to take direction and accept critical review of your work;
- Clear understanding and appreciation of schedules and milestones;
- Ability to create fun and exciting gameplay using a complex array of mechanics;
- Strong understanding of aesthetics as it relates to level layout and presentation;
- Passion for and broad knowledge of console games with ability to critically analyze user experience;
- Ability to communicate in English.
Pluses
- Experience with World Creator 2, Maya and/or 3D Studio Max.
