COMMUNITY MANAGER

Big Moxi Games is seeking a full-time specialist in online customer engagement, social media community management.

Location: Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Profile:

  • Lover of games, gamer culture and engaging with people online from all over the world;
  • In-depth knowledge of current trends in social media and online community channels including how game studios and publishers engage their fans and how gamers like to engage with them;
  • Solid understanding of current products, gamer segments/preferences, and trends in the PC/console market;
  • Heavy user of social networks and with deep understanding of the channel dynamics and the communication language of popular networks, memes, influencers, streamers, YouTubers, etc.;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Fluency and experience with all PC/console game systems and platforms;
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, clear communicator, responsible, attentive, and creative;
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Social Media or Discord Community Manager responsible for generating and moderated content as well as engaging directly with fans;
  • Expert in technical aspects of managing all community, social media, and PC game platforms including: Discord, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, Reddit, and Steam.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the “online voice” of Big Moxi Games and its products on all social networks and game platforms (e.g. Steam, Discord, Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch etc.);
  • Drive online customer engagement and facilitate a positive ongoing dialogue between fans and the company as well as among fellow fans;
  • Drive increase in online community size as well as the quality and frequency of customer engagement;
  • Stimulate online discussion around game-related content to increase product awareness and affinity;
  • Respond to community questions as well as initiate/engage in relevant conversations with the community;
  • Develop relationships with influencers and streamers to encourage their promotion of Big Moxi Games IP and community as well as participation in our community;
  • Organize, create, and support community events including pre-release game testing;
  • Solicit and collect feedback from playtesters;
  • Lead creation of content for distribution through community and social channels;
  • Create content calendars, define content specifications, and execute push of content to community across channels;
  • Collaborate with artists and others to create content appropriate for each channel;
  • Monitor company social networks and communities to maintain a positive, safe and healthy community for all;
  • Lead measurement plan execution and reporting function; gathering data and producing reports on KPIs for community and social media channels.

Bonus, bot not required:

  • Intermediate knowledge in graphic/image editing (Photoshop, Illustrator or other similar tools);
  • Fluency and experience with all PC/console game systems and platforms.
